Bravo! I am pleasantly surprised to find such an excellent and brief article on a process which has so often been shrouded in cultural mystery. The 20th century provided so many terrifyingly chaotic works of music that it seems folks have become deign to discuss the process in such technical and "unemotional" terms. I must ask this rhetorical question: if these methods can be used to compose music for video games, could they not also be used for music of any kind, where repetition must be carefully and subtly balanced?

Best regards, Joaquin.

Whoa! Excellent break down of the composition process for that track! Has 'Plushed' been released already? Was also wondering, how do you print out the sheet music so nicely like that?

Well, I think you achieved what you set out to do with this track. I really like the pizzicato strings element giving it that feel of adventure. iphone game music thought out to this level of depth is a credit to you.
